Long Island Motorcyclists Arrested after Causing a Disturbance in a Number of Towns

This past Sunday, a reported 20-50 motorcyclists were driving recklessly through multiple towns on Long Island. Bikers were reported being a disturbance in Bay Shore, West Islip, West Babylon and Brentwood. (NBC New York)

The bikers rode in Halloween masks and face painting in order to meet up at a location in North Bay Shore. Inspector Brown tells NBC New York social media was used to start up the 10-mile stretch to the meet up.

A total of seven bikers were arrested along with, 36 summonses and seizes of motorcycles and ATVs. A few of the alleged victims claim to not be a part of the biker nuisance but were just their riding motorcycles and scooters. Some report Suffolk County Police Department was too harsh during their attempt to stop and penalize the bikers. Suffolk County PD defended themselves saying the tactics were needed in order to stop the disturbance. (NBC New York)

The seven bikers arrested attended court today to plead guilty. All were released without bail.
