The DMV has announced New Yorkers can now use a MyDMV account to handle identification matters. The website has now expanded so residents can tend to renewing and replacing licenses, checking points on licenses and more. (Long Island)

Governor Cuomo tells Long Island, the objective of the expansion of the website is to make the DMV process “more accessible and convenient.” Barbara J. Fiala, Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, says the new amenities on the website will help reduce the line of customers at the DMV.

MyDMV displays information regarding your identification. Users can also register to vote or become an organ donor. MyDMV even sends e-mail alerts. New Yorkers can make an account on the DMV’s website. (Long Island)
