It seems as if Facebook is the root to many divorces around the
world! Justices are now beginning to get wise and using evidence on Facebook
during divorce hearings.
According to a survey done last year, more than a third of divorce filings in the UK contained the word “Facebook”. Another survey done in the
United States reported that 80% of divorce attorneys said they’ve seen the
number of cases using social networking on the rise.
A divorce attorney Connecticut also added that out of the 15 cases
he handles per year that computer history, texts and emails are used as
evidence, 60% exclusively involve Facebook!
