President Obama recently made an announce suggesting that law schools consider cutting back on a year of education. This would mean law school would be completed in two years, rather than three.

According to the New York Times, President Obama stated at his speech given at Binghamton University, “I believe that law schools would probably be wise to think about being two years instead of three years.”

President Obama believes that the third year of law school should be done outside the classroom and suggested students use the final two semesters to gain experience in a work environment.
