Starting tomorrow, non-diet sodas and other sugary drinks over 16 oz. will be illegal to serve in NYC. Customers may also find themselves having to make a lot more of their drinks than ever before.
The controversial ban on sugary soft drinks being sold in sizes over 16 oz., will be changing how a lot of NYC restaurants and eateries serve their drinks. Movie theaters bowling alleys, sporting arenas and restaurants are all among the places that will be expected to make changed due to the new ban.
This if the first ban of sugary drinks in the nation. If any company chooses not to abide by the new rules, they will be facing a $200 fine.
