The Massapequa man who faked his own drowning last summer at
Jones Beach is now back in jail after being arraigned Thursday on charges for
posing as a police officer and attempting to order a women into his van.
The new charges against Raymond Roth, 48, include one count of
kidnapping, one count of attempted burglary and one count of criminal impersonation.
It is still unknown if they knew charges against Roth will affect the plea deal
on Roth’s faked disappearance at Jones Beach from last summer.
