Only 9 days ago, on February 14th, Oscar Pistorius was arrested in the shooting and death of his model girlfriend. Today, he has been released on bail.
Only a few short days ago, the Olympic amputee was charged
with one count of premeditated murder of Reeva Steenkamp in their South Africa
home. Pistorius said he “accidentally shot her, thinking she was an intruder”.
His bail was set at 1,000,000 along with orders to stay home
from his home, prohibited from drinking alcohol, must return his passport and
firearms and report to the police station twice a week.
