Family Fun Nights

Description: Crafts, games, summer time dish, stories and more!

Peace, Love and Cupcakes Party

When: Saturday, August 18^th

Where: Cupcake Corner Too (Garden City)

Price: $30

Description: Make beaded fringe tie dye T-shirts (shirts are pre-dyed), bottle cap jewelry, tie dye cupcakes, pizza and music, for children ages 4-12

National Circus Project 

Where: Long Island Children’s Museum (Garden City)

When: Monday, August 20^th

Price: $4 with museum admission, $10 theatre only

Description: Watch the acts of the National Circus Project then join in and learn tricks of the trade, for children 3 and older

The Hofstra University Museum’s Sculpture Exploration Backpack

When: Friday, August 17^th

Where: Hofstra University Museum: Emily Lowe Gallery

Price: Free

Description: The Hofstra University Museum's Sculpture Exploration Backpack offers an activity-filled way for adults and children ages 4 through 9 to explore together the outdoor sculpture collection. Meet at the Emily Lowe Gallery, located on South Campus, and pick up a backpack; at the end of the tour, return the backpack and each child will receive a small gift from the museum. Funding provided by the New York Council of Arts; activity is available year round (gallery is open on weekends, only during exhibitions, and is closed for University holidays)
