The cold and snowy weather has left the roads slippery and icy for most of February.  Remember to be careful when driving, as well as when walking to and from your car.  In the unfortunate event you are injured in an accident, we may be able to help you recover compensation for the physical harm and financial losses you've suffered.

At the Law Offices of Louis D. Stober, Jr., LLC, we work with Long Islanders to seek justice for car accident victims, slip and falls, construction workers hurt on the job, and more.

If you recently experienced a personal injury.  There are three main reasons why you should give our office a call.

1.  The insurance companies have investigators immediately investigating your circumstances so you need someone  on your side to make sure that a thorough and proper investigation is performed.
2.  You will receive a call from an insurance carrier or an agent looking to settle your case for you or finding out information from you.
3.  You want somebody who will quickly and efficiently gather up the information necessary to put a compelling case together.

Are you ready for cool weather and changing leaves?  As you prepare for the fall season, we remind you to stay safe when driving on the roads.  Here are a few driving hazards to keep in mind as the seasons change.

Autumn Road Hazards:
  • Fallen Leaves - Although fallen leaves are beautiful, they can also be slippery and dangerous when wet.  Keep an eye out for patches of wet leaves when you are driving.
  • Reduced Visibility - Daylight savings time is ending. This means that your visibility will be reduced when driving.  Use caution when driving and watch out for pedestrians and bicyclists.
  • Changing Tire Pressure - The weather changes frequently from day to day in the fall.  These temperature changes can cause your tires to lose air pressure. Make sure they are properly inflated.
  • Sun Glare - Keep a good pair of sunglasses available in your car to counter any glare.  The sun will be rising and setting at new times that might affect your driving.
