- Don’t Tailgate – Make sure that you are following vehicles at a safe distance.
- Slow Down – Many construction zones have restricted speed limits, as workers may be just feet away. Fines may also double for moving traffic violations in construction zones.
- Merge Into the Proper Lane – Traffic patterns can change daily. Merge well before you reach the lane closure.
