Long Beach Students Return to School Today for The First Time Post Sandy

Today, many Long Beach students were finally able to head back to school post-sandy. Students in the Long Beach community have been out of school for the past two weeks due to the damage and devastation their area suffered from Hurricane Sandy.

Early this morning, school bused made their way through the streets dropping students at the three open campuses in Long Beach. The entire community has come together to try their best to return to normalcy after Sandy.

East, Lindell Elementary School and Long Beach High School are the three campuses scheduled to resume classes today. All students in the Long Beach Public School System will be attending these three campuses until after Thanksgiving.
